I'm a resident in braemar avenue and would appreciate if the license for Sidney's off license is revoked.

We have lived here for thirty years and it's been really good apart from  since Sidney's  have been given license to serve alcohol and for the last few years it's been a nightmare because as follows :

 

1. People drink on the sides of the roads and Infront of my house , shouting and making noises.

 

2. They dump rubbish outside the house, corner of the road and on the streets which makes it looks like a dump yard.

 

3. It is very unsafe for my mum, sister , wife and my guests to walk past these drunken louts to get home.

 

4.There are groups Asian and Sri-Lankans gangs who hang around on the street corner with the spirit  bottles bought from Sidney's.

We see them often fighting between them-self because they are intoxicated.

 

5. Also we seen youngsters with alcohol bottles in the hand on the corner.

 

6.due to Sidney's selling alcohol there is always congregation of men's standing outside the shop and spitting pan all over the place with no regard to cleanliness.

 

7. Due to two betting shop been literally next door there are always drunken people standing outside the shops with alcohol  bought from Sidney's as it so easily available making a scene which is very unsafe for the general public on the street.

 

8.The park (on tree hill) on the top of the road is supposed to be place for kids and families to play and spend time is littered with mountains of cans and bottles bought from Sidney's also hundreds of drinkers are around the park drinking which makes it unsafe and we don't feel like going to the park.

 

9. Also most alleyways on the ad-joining roads are full of people drinking and so much litter. Eg: cans,bottles bought from Sidney's.

 

Will also save the council thousands of pounds  in cleaning and officers trying to implement the non drinking order which is in place , which by the way they never do.

 

This is been going on for very long time and the quicker you revoke the license the quicker we can try to get back to normality and the corner of ealing road will be a cleaner place.
